12TH ANNUAL DJ CARLSON MEMORIAL
David "D.J." Carlson or DJ as everyone knew him, was one of the most remarkable individuals anyone ever had the pleasure of meeting. DJ was killed in an automobile accident on November 19, 2012. He was 19 years old when he was taken from us.
D.J. was not your typical teenager; he was the type of young man people were drawn to. He was a remarkable young man with a love of God, family, and friends, making it easy for us to honor him.
The "D.J. Carlson Memorial Fund" is dedicated to helping support high school students in their dream of college education, stimulate and nurture the community youths' natural interest in 4H and FFA and help them to discover the power through agriculture science, community, or the State of Texas. It has also established DJ's Locker benefiting Devine Middle and High School to help with school supplies, uniforms, and much, much more.
